from dinner last night at one of my favorite restaurants in the world--the little bear, in bearsville, upstate new york--where you sit by big windows overlooking a creek, jack-o-lanterns lit in the forest on the opposite bank. spooky dreamy magic.

I want to go there...I also had Chinese food last night from King Hwa in Sebastopol. My fortune cookie was good...something about the smartest path is to plan for the unknown. Yours was way better!

i love thinking of all three of us opening fortune cookies last night! makes me feel close to you even though we're all in three different states.
