mr. fish

rented a fisheye lens today so i could photograph the shop for a promotional article. they are so much fun...
just love the slight warp to the guitar neck.

and okay, just in case you didn't know, let me let you in on the pun (while destroying the humor in it for those of you who do know): emre's last name means 'fish' in turkish. get it? mr. fish? fish eye lens. oh i'm too funny.

You remind me that I need to rent a lens one weekend from a place here in town and go shoot around...and it would be way fun to try out a fisheye. Hmm...must add to list...

Funny. I digging the lighting in this photo as much as Emre is digging his guitar.

Hey, I work with www.mochaclub.org, a non-profit that works in Africa. I saw that you were on the NaBloPoMo list, and we'd love for you to blog about our new campaign on Nov. 24th. The campaign is centered around this idea – at Mocha Club, we have always cared about building an accurate perception of both the challenges that Africans face, and the BEAUTY of Africa. We need bloggers to help get the word out. Please email our director at barrett[at]mochaclub[dot]org if you would be interested in hearing the details!

Thanks,
Betsy

This is so cool that Betsy solicited you about her non-profit. I do this all the time asking people if I can use their flickr pictures for our publications. I encourage you to contact them...most people don't respond--although i have no idea what their org is really about.
